DigitalCube: rebranding & website
At-A-Glance
As the company’s main product designer, I was in charge of DigitalCube’s company rebranding and their website redesign, alongside our Project Manager, who was responsible for website content and company profile documentation. During our weekly meetings, we were informing our company founders of the current project status, as well as restructuring our plan and realigning our goals after getting their feedback. We also put in motion a plan to keep the company’s Social Media profiles running and fill them with attractive and informative content.

Problem
DigitalCube company, an experienced boutique software development house which provides tailored product development services, was in need of a complete visual, structural and organisational makeover due to its business growth and expansion strategy. The founders assigned our Project Manager and me to this rebranding project In order to help them strategically, content-wise and aesthetically rebuild their brand image.
Solution
Our Project Manager and I built the new DigitalCube company website by adapting an animated Webflow template to align with the company’s newest strategic direction, content and visuals. While my colleague was centred on delivering all the content for the company profile document and Social Media profiles and getting it approved, I was more oriented towards designing a logo, memorandum, business cards and Social Media visuals that convey DigitalCube’s mission and vision.

Final logo
Colour symbolic: Apart from being the colour of nature and representing eco-friendly brands and companies, green colour also has the calming effect on the customer while symbolising growth and harmony. By using this colour in our new logo design, we wanted to let our customers know that we are a growing business, but also give them a sense of security and stability.
Simple but three-dimensional: Our new logo is forged from simple, geometric components. On the other hand, by combining three shades of green and positioning all the components in a specific manner, the logo starts gaining complexity and three-dimensionality. This is all intentional, as we want our customers to envision that we use simple-to-understand and proven processes to give quick and efficient solutions to complex problems.
Geometric patterns: We are open for collaboration, new projects and clients, which we strive to convey with out "open-box" geometric design. Our logo design also gives the impression that, even though rules and knowledge are at the core of our business identity, we are adaptable enough, willing to share our knowledge and capable of modifying our ideas for client's needs.
Minimalism: Minimalistic font and design in the combination with carefully combined sharp geometric edges send the message of a modern, serious, organised and trustworthy company in hi-tech industry.

Design comparisons (Before VS. Now)
In order to stand out from the growing competition and be seen through clients’ eyes as a reliable and trustworthy boutique software development house, DigitalCube website needed to undergo a complete transformation. This time around we opted for an animated Webflow template with a built-in CMS that is highly interactive, functional, innovative and has an exceptionally attractive website design. Old-school design with outdated content and dull visuals has been replaced with eye-catching design, up-to-date content and vibrant colour library, all elements aligned with the newest DigitalCube’s strategic direction.
Product successes
After some required design and content iterations were made and quality assurance testing completed, the company founders expressed their satisfaction with the look and feel of the new website, its performance and speed after the launch, as well as the new logo, memorandum, business cards, social media content and company profile document. When comparing the traffic quality performed on Google Analytics three months prior to the redesign (February to April of 2023) with an equal data range (three months after the redesign, from May to August of 2023), we can clearly notice a positive 4.56% drop in bounce rate, as well as a 8.12% increase in average pages per session.
What I learned
Throughout my time working on the DigitalCube rebranding and website redesign, I learned how to make a Webflow website template with a built-in CMS suitable for a company’s business and strategic objectives. Using Webflow’s online visual editor platform has been a challenging experience at first, but after familiarising myself with its web design software, a satisfying one indeed.
